Fox Glass own the copyright, trademarks and other intellectual property rights in all material and content on this website, which you may use, download, copy, publish, transmit or otherwise make available by any other means only for your own personal, non–commercial use. Any other use or reproduction of the material or content is strictly prohibited. You may not create any link to this website without prior written consent, nor may you restrict or inhibit the use or enjoyment of it by anyone else. While we will use reasonable endeavours to verify the accuracy of any information we place on the Fox Glass website, we make no warranties, whether express or implied in relation to its accuracy.
Wherever the term “Working Days or Hours” is featured, this excludes bank holidays, weekends and public holidays such as Christmas. Any holiday times will be clearly displayed on the homepage. When you place an order with Fox Glass you will be sent an order confirmation detailing your order, this is giving you ample opportunity to correct any possible errors. Should you have any complaints, please send them to the contact information detailed at the bottom of this document. These terms and conditions apply to all transactions on this site. They do not affect your statutory rights.
Fox Glass products are annealed but they are still a breakable item, care should be taken when handling, displaying and using Fox Glass products. Fox Glass Products should be kept out of reach of children and animals due to the delicate nature of products. Responsibility for products falls to the buyer following safe delivery of Fox Glass products. Fox Glass products are not for consumption, they are not under any circumstances to be used as toys, and care must be taken to avoid injury. If a product is broken upon arrival or damaged after arrival, upmost care must be taken when handling the shards and Fox Glass assume no responsibility for injury or damage from our products due to undue care.
If you’d like to order a custom request to a particular theme or colour scheme, please provide evidence for reference of your colour scheme or request. This is to avoid discrepancies and miscommunications about your request.
Repair or replace service.
Fox Glass offer a repair or replace service for items damaged or broken whilst in customer care. This is not a guarantee or a warranty service, it is a goodwill gesture. If your item is damaged or broken we will ask you to carefully return your product for us to access the severity of the damage, simple repairs are priced at £8.40 including return 1st class signed for postage. Alternatively if the damage is irreparable we will offer you a replacement at around 50% of your original purchase cost. Our repair service is charged at cost price, so Fox Glass only charges for the materials & postage.
Prices are subject to change but are correct at time of posting. Any glitches, errors or typos are not required to be honoured. If an error or inaccuracy is discovered with regards to the advertised price of the goods that you have ordered, we will contact you as soon as possible by e-mail. This will be to inform you of the correct price of the goods, and to ask you if you wish to continue with the order at the amended price, or to cancel the order altogether. Any special offers will have a clear displayed end date.
When using the website you can pay using a credit or debit card via the Etsy direct payments method or via PayPal – you can pay with your PayPal account, or by card through that system. To pay by card, you don’t need to have an account with PayPal to purchase. If you prefer to not use your card online we are also able to take card payments over the telephone. 01547 550285
Any contract for purchases made through the website will be with Fox Glass. Fox Glass must receive payment of the whole of the price for the goods that you order before your order can be accepted, and the contract formed.
Once payment has been received Fox Glass will confirm via the Etsy ordering system that your order has been received, sending an email to you at the email address you provide. The shipment email will include your name, the order number and the total price. Fox Glass acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us on these terms. Any term sought to be imposed by you in your order will not form part of the contract.
Fox Glass posts orders via Royal Mail 1st Class Signed For, postage is charged as cost.
It is Royal Mail’s policy to sometimes leave packages with a neighbour should you be out when delivery is attempted, they may also leave it in a safe place or return to the sorting office. There will be a red card left in these cases.
We charge a flat rate (currently £6 for one items and £2 for any additional items included with your first order) for international orders, using the fastest air mail services available for the destination country, if you require more specific information for your location please contact us with your query.
If in the unfortunate circumstance your order does not arrive, please allow 14 days to be certain and then we will offer a replacement of your product. Furthermore, if your order sadly arrives broken, please provide photographic evidence and we will discuss with you about the next steps, typically in the unlikely event that your goods arrived damaged we advise that you contact us immediately. We will repair or replace and return your item to you free of charge or if you prefer we can issue a refund.
We ensure all items that are posted to our customers are of the highest standard but if there is ever a need to return an item we do accept returns for a full refund or an exchange for a product of the same value. In the circumstances where you’d like to return for any reason other than a broken product, you are responsible for the return postage. Any full refund will be minus the original postage.
Under The Consumer Contract Regulations, your right to cancel begins from the moment you place your order, up to 14 working days after receiving your order. Your right to cancel is unconditional.
If you wish to return an item, please notify us in writing (email is fine). We will then process your return.
We would be grateful if you would return your items via recorded or tracked post, this is for your peace of mind, and ours. This is not a requirement of law, this is a courtesy request.
Please note there will be no refunds on sale items – unless faulty.
Items marked as being reduced for having a defect, damage or any other reason will be exempt from the returns policy.
Returning Custom Items:
Custom made items are exempt from The Consumer Contract Regulations – the only exception being is if they’re faulty. In this case, please refer to the returns section of this document.
